Not a walk in the Park

Hello friends... I love seeing what you created for this theme. Unfortunately I don’t have anything to show for this reveal. I had an unfortunate kitchen accident and cut one of my fingers pretty badly. I haven’t been sewing or doing much. So sorry to have missed this... I hope for the next theme I’ll be all healed.
XO
Martha

  7. Martha, I am truly sorry to hear that you have an injury that prevented you from participating. Some time ago I cut my finger badly while using a rotary cutter and know how hard it is to do even the easiest tasks and how long it takes to heal.

    1. Thanks Carol! It does take a long time to heal. I can only image how terrible it must have been sharp blades like rotary cutters make very deep cuts.

  9. I am sorry to hear of your kitchen accident. Take care and when you are ready you'll be sewing again! Both my daughters have had kitchen accidents that have required stitches, so I know how tough it makes doing things.

    1. Thanks Nancy.. it was awful specially since we were in the middle of peach season and it made it impossible to finish all the plans I had to prepare my homegrown peaches.

  10. I hope you recover speedily and are not too hampered. I cut my right thumb down to the bone when I was 13 and the one thing I remember from it is not being able to tie up my hair!
