Spiral Bling

This project theme took me down memory lane with high school geometry and mathematical formulas, but with a much happier ending than final semester test!

While cleaning out one of my craft areas, I came upon beads and cording that would work well to enhance my piece.

For more information about how I went about creating this art quilt project, visit my blog, Patchwork Breeze.

Here is the final project, of which I am very pleased.

My Apology

Ladies I'm sorry to have to say I have to discontinue being a part of this lovely group of talented ladies.  I will continue to follow and comment on the group if allowed.
I'm having health, financial, and marriage issues and there for stress is not helping any of the areas.
I sure would appreciate your prayers in these areas as well.  My God is good and He has a plan.  I pray to be in the middle of it.
Thank you and enjoy your endeavors.
Blessings to you and yours.

Spiral Sneaky Peek

Hi Everyone.  I thought I would give you just a small sneak peek at my spiral piece.  Oh, you don't see a spiral?  Well, it's there lurking on the edge.  These are stars, of course.  The background fabric.  But among the stars there are little crystal beads with silver linings.  When I show you the completed piece, you'll see how it ALLLL ties together in my thought process.

Have a great day.

Spiral bit

I had an idea of what I wanted to stitch for this challenge.  I have difficulty in transferring what I envision to reality.  I'll finish this start with the thought that this group is a learning process for me.  Being engaged is part of the process.
