Boustrophedon

I don't really know what to say about this quilt except that I think last time I tried quilt painting I had a steadier hand! I am quite pleased with the design but I wish I'd pieced it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone has made for this interesting theme :)

  1. Janine, this is a really effective interpretation of this quarter's theme. I think there is a flow to the painted quilt that would not be so apparent in a pieced quilt, I really like it :)

  2. Nice job. It flows beautifully. There's no unsteadiness that I can see.

  4. I understand why you wish you had pieced it, but sometimes things only become clear after you've done them and maybe it's just opened up other possibilities for the future? I think it's a fantastic and striking design which perfectly illustrates the theme! I particularly love that it looks, with the shapes, patterns and colours, to have an iconic 1950s/60s atomic era design thing going on.

  5. I learn so much from this group, which I thoroughly enjoy! I've not done a painted quilt, and now I'm curious. I like the variety of the arrows, and I don't see any shakiness at all.
